STATEMENT OF VISION, PURPOSE, GOALS, AND COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE
Our Vision
The vision of Metrolina Christian Academy is to trust our Lord as we seek academic and Christian excellence. We believe this will be accomplished with much prayer, commitment, and great leadership among the administration and faculty, supported by a strong base of parental involvement. We envision MCA as an accredited institution providing preschool, lower school, and upper school education to the families and community surrounding First Baptist Church of Indian Trail. We believe it is God’s plan to buy land, erect buildings, and hire staff to provide quality education to prepare our students to enter the business world or to enter colleges that will prepare them for the professions God has chosen for them. Our goal is to prepare students to be productive, Christ-like citizens contributing to their communities and to this world.

Our Goals
Our Commitment to Excellence
We are committed to Christ our Savior: He is the head and the foundation of all we are and do. (1 Corinthians 3:11)
We are committed to our students: We love them, teach them, disciple them, protect them, discipline them, and attempt to live godly lives as examples. (Matthew 19:14)
We are committed to families: We assist parents and families in training their children in godly paths, in maintaining a safe and secure environment for them, and in challenging them academically, socially, and spiritually. (Proverbs 22:6)
We are committed to local Bible believing churches: We support the ministries of First Baptist Church of Indian Trail and encourage our students and their families to support their own churches faithfully. (Hebrews 10:25)
We are committed to the Bible, God’s Word: We preach it, teach it, study it, memorize it, love it, and live by it. (Psalm 119:105)
We are committed to prayer: It is our lifeline. We will aim for excellence by continuing to seek God’s leadership in all areas. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
We are committed to our community: We will continue to conduct our affairs with integrity that we might maintain a godly testimony. We will strive to make positive contributions to our community corporately and by training our students to be responsible, productive citizens. (Matthew 5:13-16)
We are committed to our faculty and staff: We will encourage them to minister effectively by supporting them with love and prayer. We will encourage excellence in our classrooms by providing training, equipment, and materials to assist our staff as they serve. (1 Corinthians 3:9)
