"Holy Spirit" Week

March 27, 2013
By Rev. Rick Calloway

It has been such a blessing this week to see our students coming together to celebrate "Holy Spirit" week on campus. God continues to move so powerfully on our campus in the lives of our students, staff, and families. Today, our theme is "God Can" as we celebrate in chapel and in class all God has done and is doing in our lives. Tomorrow, we will close out the week with a day of encouragement. The day of encouragement is one of my favorites as we see our high school students pour a lot of love out on our lower school students.

We have been so blessed this year to see thus far over 100 students and 20 parents receive Christ through the school's ministry. We give all the glory to God for all that He is doing on our campus.

Also, I want to say a big thank you to Coach Brad Lambert and his wife Angie for bringing the UNCC football team yesterday to our campus to read to our lower school students. These student athletes made quite an impression on our lower school students.

Finally, I want to wish each of you a blessed Easter break. I pray that you will celebrate our risen Savior and enjoy some great family time building memories. If you do not have a church home, I would love to invite you to one of our services this weekend. Our modern worship service The Lift meets in the Family Life Center at 6 p.m. Saturday night, and 9:30 and 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday to celebrate Easter. We would love to have you if you are looking for a church.
