It is Team Member Tuesday and today we are recognizing Korey Risley. This is his third year at MCA and he teaches High School Chemistry. Mr. Risley’s favorite Bible verse is 1 Kings 14:8 – “Many years after King David was alive, God Himself described David as one who had "kept [God's] commands and followed [Him] with all his heart, doing only what was right in [His] sight." He says this is his favorite verse because knowing that David had his share of sins in his life, it's a wonderful reminder that when we seek the LORD with a penitent, humble heart, He is faithful to remove our sins "as far as the east is from the west." We asked Mr. Risley what he likes most about working at MCA and this is what he said:

“I am blessed to be able to assist students in seeing the fingerprints of God in His creation, through Scripture as well as scientific principles; the very orderly principles for which God is responsible in the first place. I am also blessed and humbled to work with some of the finest people I have ever known, who continuously amaze me with their kindness to me and my family, as well as their faithfulness to the LORD.”

We feel very blessed to have Mr. Risley in the MCA family and appreciate all he does each day at MCA!
