The Paul Harrison Media Center exists to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information, create lifelong learners, and encourage a love for reading. The resources support students in becoming information literate so that they may be proficient consumers and producers of information. Every student is nurtured to make reading and learning a way of life.
Our purpose is to provide materials in all formats, such as magazines, volumes, and online resources. It strives to provide the latest technology so that staff and students can have access to the most current resources. Students have a variety of tools available for use. The Media Center houses the computer lab with twenty-one computers and iPads for taking Accelerated Reader quizzes. Also, students can access Follet Destiny, ProQuest, World Book Online, Renaissance Home Connect, and Microsoft Suite Programs.
Every student is encouraged to check-out materials. All materials are due two weeks after check-out and can be renewed. The number of books students are able to check-out varies by grade level.
