What is the status of Accreditation at MCA?
MCA is fully accredited with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).  Our teachers are degreed and have certification through ACSI.

What academic opportunities are available at MCA?

  •  Metrolina offers a quality Early Education Center for children ages six weeks through four years old.
  • The Academy offers a quality Christian education to children in grades Transitional Kindergarten through twelfth grade.
  • MCA offers a Learning Resource Center (LRC) for students needing full-day academic assistance as well as a part-time LRC for those students needing help in one or more subject areas.
  •  Metrolina offers a before and after school care program for students in the Academy through 6th grade.
  • MCA is partnering with local home school families offering academic and enrichment opportunities to home school students.

How many counties does MCA serve?
We have a diverse student body that reside in NC and SC: Union County, Mecklenburg County, Stanly County, Anson County, and Chesterfield County.

How many churches are represented among the student body at MCA?
We have students from about 85 different churches representing various denominations.

What is the winning element of MCA?
We are passionate about integrating God’s Word into every subject, every day! Our teachers serve as our living curriculum.

What curriculum is used at MCA?
We use a variety of textbooks to enhance our curriculum, including selections from Bob Jones, A Beka, Saxon, and ACSI.

What are the school hours at MCA?
TK- Kindergarten: 8:15 am-2:40 pm
1st – 12th Grades: 8:15 am-3:00 pm
Early Education Center and After school Care: 7:00 am-6:00 pm

What sports are offered at MCA?
We offer Soccer, Cross Country, Volleyball, Cheerleading, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, Softball, and Golf. Students must try out for each team and the sports fees for the year are $125 per student.

Is there transportation available at MCA?
We have been blessed with five buses used for transporting field trips and sporting teams.
