"That the generation to come might know Him..." Psalm 78:6
Hear from some of our Kindergarten students as they share what they love about Kindergarten at Metrolina Christian Academy:

Why Choose MCA?

As a ministry of First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, Metrolina Christian Academy offers a Christ-centered, quality academic environment with an affordable tuition for students. The faculty and staff are committed to the students that God has entrusted us with.

The purpose statement of MCA says it all...

To provide Christ-like love:

  • Sharing His good news in the classrooms and in every other area of our school.

  • Encouraging our students to be a light in the world through service projects, outreach efforts, missions week, spiritual emphasis week, athletics, and mission trips.

  • Praying for our students and families every day.

  • Classroom devotions and testimonies by teachers and students.

To promote a Biblical world view:

  • Scripture is integrated into each lesson plan for every subject.

  • Apologetics is a prominent theme throughout high school Bible classes.

  • Three exciting, spirit-filled chapel services weekly (TK-2nd gr., 3rd-5th gr., 6th-12th gr.)

  • Students are encouraged to seek answers in His Word and through a strong relationship with Christ.

To pursue excellence in education:

  • MCA is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)

  • MCA teachers are degreed and certified. Teachers are offered continuing education courses and are required to stay current on their certification with ACSI.

  • Our administration evaluates teachers/classes several times each year.

  • MCA faculty and administration work on a process of review making decisions regarding curriculum and materials.

  • Our upper school is a college preparatory school. Students in grades 9-12 meet regularly with their guidance counselor to ensure a proper high school resume, leading to the college and career of their choice.

  • MCA has classroom assistants to help our teachers with the care of our lower school students.

To partner with our families:

  • MCA teachers are communicators, staying in contact with our families to share concerns as well as victories. We have also implemented the use of RenWeb, a secure, user-friendly computer communication tool, where parents can access their student’s grades 24/7. Parents can also use RenWeb to check assignments and upcoming events.

  • Parent-teacher conferences can be scheduled at any time during the year as deemed necessary.

  • Parents and grandparents are essential in making MCA run properly. Many parents and grandparents volunteer each week or for a variety of events throughout the year.

MCA graduates are succeeding in their college careers, thriving in their chosen professions, and serving all across the world.

If you are praying about Christian education for your child, please consider scheduling a tour of our school. I believe that you will feel God’s presence here as you walk through the hallways and meet the faculty and staff of MCA.
