Let us enter into His courts with thanksgiving and praise as we open the 2011 season with our new outdoor complex for football, soccer, softball and baseball. Only by the Lord’s blessings could a project like this be accomplished. Not only will this open a door for “home” competition and fellowship, it will also provide opportunities for training and serving in our community, as Metrolina Christian Academy strives to be more like Christ.
• As coaches, we will encourage, sharpen, and train our student athletes to run the daily race with perseverance knowing that a reward exists at the finish.
• As athletes, I pray that whatever we decide to do, we will do with all our might. No one should provide reason to question our effort daily as we prepare and compete.
• As adults, let us commit to display the fruit of the spirit that demonstrates we are distinctively Christian…love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and most of all…self-control.
With over thirty athletic teams competing in events throughout the year we have a wonderful opportunity to positively impact the lives of our youth. I pray the Lord blesses your family for choosing to partner with Metrolina Christian Academy.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:17
