"That the generation to come might know Him..." Psalm 78:6

Check out our students service projects for the 2015-2016 school year!

TK: Throughout the year TK made love gifts such as Christmas ornaments and gifts such as Christmas ornaments and goodie bags for Early Education staff.

Kindergarten: Kindergarten ministered to some of the widows and home-bound members of FBCIT through small projects each quarter. They encouraged them with prayers as well as made seasonal items to brighten each one's day or the place where they are living.

First Grade: First grade students made Salvation Bead Bracelets for our MCA Guatemala Mission team to use as they spread the gospel in June 2016.

Second Grade: The second grade students went caroling at the mall to spread good tidings and good cheer at Christmas.

Third Grade: The third grade class had a wonderful time visiting with the residents of Brookdale Assisted Living throughout the year. The students shared crafts, read Scripture, and sang for the residents.

Fourth Grade: The fourth grade students visited the CMPD Command Center to deliver stuffed animals that police officers will place in their cars and give to children who have been taken out of dangerous and sad situations. The classes will be praying for the safety of police officers and for the safety of Charlotte.

Fifth Grade: Fifth graders collected over 11 lbs. of aluminum can pop-tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte. That’s almost 101,000 tabs from February until May!!!  Each 1lb provides a one night stay and a meal for families as their loved ones are cared for at one of our local hospitals.

Sixth Grade: The sixth grade ministered to the Boomers & Beyond worship group by making cards and gifts for them monthly.

Seventh Grade: Seventh grade students served with the Sandbox Ministry, a ministry that supports children and their families who have cancer or other life altering diseases. Students did extra chores to help purchase cleaning supplies and personal items for baskets that were distributed to families who are going through these difficult times. They made Christmas cards and prayed for the recipients of these special baskets.

Eighth Grade: A standing tradition, the eighth grade visited Lois Lodge where the students did cleaning, laundry, and landscaping.

Ninth Grade: The ninth graders assisted in cleaning the MCA activity buses. This is a tremendous help to our coaches and athletic teams that use the buses on a regular basis.

Tenth & Eleventh Grade: Every Friday the Upper School students spent time with Lower School students for Reading Buddies.

Eleventh Grade: The eleventh grade students collected items for and assembled sandwiches that were delivered to the Union County Community Shelter.

Twelfth Grade: These students sorted and packed shoeboxes at the Operation Christmas Child warehouse.

Christian Leadership: This group of students read with the two-year-olds through K4 every Friday.

Lower School Student Council: Lower School Student Council members painted our school spirit rock for Springapalooza and assisted during our annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast. They also helped prepare a meal and deliver it to one of our sweet, elderly neighbors at MCA.
