LEARNING RESOURCE CENTER

Our Mission
To nurture and support the educational needs of families who have students with diagnosed disabilities. We believe the educational needs of ALL children should be met through its academic programs, including those with special needs.

The Program
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) is designed to provide a developmental appropriate education program for children diagnosed with specific learning disabilities, developmental disabilities and/or attention deficit disorders. The SMALL STUDENT-TEACHER RATIO allows immediate feedback and ensures that all content area classes can either progress quickly or slow down the pace, based on the needs of each student. Each student is provided with a Student Action Plan (SAP) and a Child Study Team that meets quarterly with parents to review goals/plans. Students will follow MCA course of study.

The program allows for the following Educational Accommodations:

  • Alternative Text Books
  • Preferred Seating
  • Extended Testing Time
  • Testing in Separate Room
  • Read-Aloud

Admissions Policies
A psychological evaluation that has been administered within the last three years is needed for proper placement within our program. Students will be evaluated on an individualized basis to determine if our program will meet their needs. Contact us at 704.882.3375.  Tuition & Fees
