Updates & Resources
MCA has opened the 2020-2021 school year with a modified traditional school day. We will need all members of our community to work together to operate safely through this reopening. It is our prayer that conditions will improve, and these modifications will be temporary.
Please understand too that even though we are implementing modifications we will seek to provide an experience for our students that is as normal as possible. We will learn, have fun, love, worship together, and more. We understand how important it is to get our students back in class for learning and their social and emotional well-being and development.
We have provided an overview of the modifications we are making to begin the school year below. Our principals will provide more details for each division in the weeks to come. We will also update you on carline drop-off and pick-up procedures as we get closer to re-opening. Also, please remember that changes with state and local guidelines could alter our plans in the coming weeks.
Update - March 24, 2021
Effective Monday, March 29th, we will discontinue temperature checks at the school doors. This change does not affect the preschool as the Health Department has not removed that requirement yet for babies through 4 years old. We ask that you continue to do the health screening on our school app as a measure of accountability for a while longer. For everyone’s safety, it is still important to keep your student home if they are not feeling well. At this time, the Governor's mask mandate is still in effect.
