What is it?
Metrolina is proud of each of our graduates and desires to see success in their life. Success is not about how much money you make or how famous you may be. Instead, the Bible shows us that a person of success is one who works hard, uses the talents God has given them, works to the full ability he has been given, works to glorify our God, and also understands accountability in their decisions.
Alumni who have been away from Metrolina for a minimum of 4 years can be honored in one of four areas that include: Academics, Athletics, Career, and Ministry. Alumni who are honored have gone above and beyond in their area. They continue to represent Metrolina to others in a positive light.
They continue to represent the Portrait of a Warrior. We define a warrior as someone who:
- Has a Worldview that is Christ-centered and biblically based.
- Has an Academic foundation that allows you to be ready for doors that God opens in your life.
- Believes in Redemption that is biblically based and personal.
- Is Responsible and use scripture to guide their daily walk.
- Has Integrity that influences life decisions.
- Has Ownership of their faith that is personal and transformational.
- Are always Ready to engage the culture, proclaim the Gospel, and live life to the glory of God.
