2020-21 Guide to Volunteering at MCA

Please Note: Volunteering will begin once North Carolina enters into Phase III

Volunteers always have and will continue to be an essential part of MCA.  On any given day, our campus is filled with volunteers who give countless hours of their time and use their God-given talents and treasures to meet the needs of our students and teachers. It is impossible for our staff to accomplish everything that needs to be done without our volunteers' hearts and hands at work. Project Serve provides opportunities for our volunteers to serve which includes a variety of times, dates, and skill sets to fit any person and schedule.  

We will need YOU and countless others to make this the best year ever at MCA.  We may not be able to have you on campus for a few weeks, but as soon as we get the go-ahead we will be in touch.  Procedures and protocols may look a little different this year, but we know it won’t stop you from supporting our teachers and staff as you always have. 

We have sought the Lord about our school focus  for 2020-2021 and God has led us to Romans 12:9-10 for that inspiration. These verses have a very appropriate message for the times in which we live:

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other.

Our theme for this year will be #LOVEINACTION. We want this school year to be about loving others and taking the message of hope and love to our world. Our world desperately needs to see a generation of Christ followers loving others as Jesus would. Thank you for being a servant and showing Christ’s love to our school!

 

How to become a volunteer:

  1. Fill out the 2020-21 Volunteer Application  (must be done each school year)
  2. Wait for your application and background check to process (can take up to 5 days)
  3. Look for a welcome email to get started serving at MCA
