The New Box Top Labels
Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Tops label.
If you see this label, use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. Box Tops are still worth 10¢ for your school. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school's earnings online.
The Old Box Top Clips
Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production, but you can still send any remaining UNEXPIRED clips to school. Every valid Box Tops clip is worth 10¢ for your school. MCA earns 10 cents for every General Mills “Box Top” logo you clip and save. Just cut off the labels from hundreds of participating General Mills products and send them to school with your child. Please place labels in a plastic bag marked with your child’s name and homeroom teacher. Your child can turn in the labels to his/her teacher or place in the collection bin on the 1st of the Lower School building.Make sure each one has a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date.
MCA supports the efforts of our Fifth grade class as they collect aluminum can pop-tabs for the Charlotte based Ronald McDonald House. Last year they collected over 8 lbs. of aluminum can pop-tabs. Each 1 lb. provides a one night stay and a meal for families as their loved ones are cared for at one of our local hospitals.
